世界的に著名なフランスのサッカークラブ「パリ・サン＝ジェルマン（Paris Saint-Germain／PSG）」が展開するサッカー教室「PSGアカデミー香港・マカオ」の主催による「マカオユースGBAトーナメント2025」大会が2月8日から2日間にわたってマカオ・ワーカーズスタジアム（工人體育場）で開催される。
PSGアカデミー香港・マカオは2月7日、ソフィテル・マカオ・アット・ポンテ16のボールルームで今大会の開催概要会見を行った。
PSGアカデミー香港・マカオゼネラルマネジャーのジョセフ・ジュセル氏によれば、今大会には、粤港澳大湾区（広東・香港・マカオグレーターベイエリア／GBA）から28のユースチームが参加し、U-9、U-11、U-13、U-15の4つの年齢別グループに分けてトーナメント形式の試合が行われるとのこと。大会を通じて、参加チーム間の友好と交流が深まることを期待しているとした。
また、PSGアカデミー香港・マカオCEOのヤニック・ンガッサ氏は、今大会を単発ではなく、当地域における毎年恒例のイベントとし、ユース世代のスポーツキャリアにおける成長と活躍の機会を継続的に提供していきたい考えを明らかにした。
今大会はマカオ政府体育局及び旅遊局も後援に名を連ねている。
The Macau Youth GBA Tournament 2025, organized by the PSG Academy Hong Kong and Macau, a soccer school run by the world-famous French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), will be held at the Macau Workers Stadium for two days from February 8th.
On February 7th, PSG Academy Hong Kong and Macau held a press conference to outline the tournament at the ballroom of Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16.
According to Joseph Joussel, general manager of PSG Academy Hong Kong and Macau, 28 youth teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) will participate in the tournament, which will be divided into four age groups: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15, and will play in a tournament format. They expressed their hope that the tournament would deepen friendship and exchanges between the participating teams.
Yannick Ngassa, CEO of PSG Academy Hong Kong and Macau, also stated his intention to make this tournament not a one-off event, but an annual event in the region, to provide ongoing opportunities for youth players to grow and excel in their sporting careers.
The tournament is also sponsored by the Macau Government Sports Bureau and the Tourism Bureau.
